Bed Runner Buying Guide
Choose the right length
Measure the width of your mattress where the runner will sit. For a runner that drops over both sides, use this guide:
Runner length = mattress width + desired drop on the left + desired drop on the right.
| Size | Dimensions |
|---|---|
| Crib | 20 × 45 in |
| Twin | 25 × 65 in |
| Twin XL | 25 × 70 in |
| Full | 25 × 80 in |
| Queen | 25 × 85 in |
| King | 25 × 95 in |
| Super King | 25 × 100 in |
The first number is the runner width and the second is its length. A 25-inch width creates a slimmer accent across the bed. Selected products have wider or special-size options for fuller coverage. Always use the product-page size selector as the final list of available sizes.
Cotton velvet and product-specific construction
KNILOT’s current Bed Runner collection focuses on cotton velvet designs, with velvet used on the front and back. Filling, weight, hand-tucked details and tassel finishes vary by product, so check the chosen product’s description before ordering.
As a general care guide, use a gentle machine-wash cycle at 30°C with mild detergent. Do not bleach, tumble dry or iron. Lay flat or line dry; dry cleaning is recommended for the best finish. If the selected product’s care label or product page gives different instructions, follow those product-specific instructions.
Add color and texture without covering the whole bed
Place the runner across the lower third or foot of the bed. Choose a color close to your cushions or curtains for a calm, coordinated look, or use a contrasting color to create a stronger focal point. A narrower runner gives a lighter accent; a wider option creates more visual coverage.
Selected designs can also be styled over a bench, sofa, reading nook or lounge. Check the individual product description before using a runner away from the bed.
